Acquaintances

I know you. You may not know me.

We say hello.

I’ll ask, how’s your day going?

We hug.

We may express a openness of welcome with a kiss on a cheek.

We then say good bye.

We come and go; and not speak to each other for a while.

But this is the style how human nature comes around.

I have many acquaintances; but seldomly any friends.

Acquaintances are cool. They’re the ones you enjoy to socialize and share your time and space with.

There’s no pressure nor fakeness to initiate and stay involved in a meaningful dialogue.

Life is all about association, and social success is how productive and effective is our communication.

Acquaintances shows variety distinctions of communication: How to have meaningful relational connections without being deep; but not being shallow that doesn’t diminish our hallow intentions.

Acquaintances are not superficial nor superfluous, it just means social purpose;

when to know what subjects we can touch on and what subjects we should disconnect ourselves from sharing and depart.

Granting wisdom to know when not to spill all your beans while you go about your day in business.

Learning the differences in knowing of me than personally knowing me.

Sometimes it just be like that on God’s earth. Many times you may have to share your greatest stories and history with those who don’t know you.

Sometimes your rapport comes from those who support you in having your back are the ones who seldomly know anything about you; from your cultural language, inner beliefs, and even your insecurities background where you hail and got healed from.

Acquaintances teach us that the value of conversations and relationships in humanity doesn’t have to deep and full blooded,

it just means we are willing to be interpersonal, fully loaded to engage and just let things…..just be.

I can dig it my brother. Nice informative piece that gives us readers something to think about as we travel the roads of courting. My favorite passage is

“ Sometimes your rapport comes from those who support you in having your back are the ones who seldomly know anything about you; from your cultural language, inner beliefs, and even your insecurities background where you hail and got healed from”.

    Keep on writing.
